1: Buy and Sell Domains
Earning Potential: $500+
Have you ever heard about the concept of flipping? You might have heard about flips where people buy houses for cheap, renovate them and sell them at a higher price, banking a small (or big) profit in the process. The concept of flipping in theory is quite simple. Much like house flipping, it follows the usual principle of "buy, improve, sell". People flip all kinds of things, from houses to old furniture that they found on the side of a street.
In the digital age, this flipping process extends beyond physical assets to websites and domains. If you have a knack for naming things, you could be quite good and domain flipping. Domain flipping is the process of buying domains that you think could be worth more than their current value, and then selling them for a profit.

2: Test Apps, Websites and Other Digital Products
Earning Potential: $200+
Testing websites and apps is a great way to make some extra money, specially if you need the money now. You can get paid quickly and don't need any investment ton get started. The best part is, anyone with a WiFi connection and a laptop or a mobile can get started, and now! Using their web platform or mobile app, you interact with the digital product that you are testing. Testing digital products is fun! All you need to do is think out loud and answer a few guided questions.
3: Sell Merchandise with Print on Demand
Earning Potential: $200+
Print-on-demand is great way to get into the e-commerce space without needed much inventory or capital. It is similar to dropshipping, but where dropshipping loses with long shipping times and larger up-front capital requirements, POD shines through. This is because, with POD you are basically only responsible for designing your merchandise.
One you have an artwork in place, you can then send it to an external agency which then prints it on mugs, magnets, stickers, clothes, you name it! They also take care of the logistics of shipping and payments!
You can either choose to go through a platform like Redbubble which serves as a large online store where both consumers and buyers sell and buy merchandise, or you can choose to have your own Print-on-demand Shopify store which links with an external logistics partner like Printify.
There are pros and cons to both approaches. While there are relatively no costs associated with getting started on Redbubble, the space is quite crowded and you might have a hard time getting your designs noticed. On the other hand, having your own store allows you to have more control and market to the consumers of your choice, therefore building a brand and an audience, but you do need more capital in order to get started.
4: Get Paid to Take Surveys
Earning Potential: less than $200
Taking paid surveys is probably the easiest way to make some starter money online, and you can do it with just a mobile device and an internet connection! We have tested a number of websites to get started, and all the websites were free to use and required no special knowledge.
Bear in mind, that taking paid surveys will definitely not earn you enough money to quit your job or be able to afford to pay rent, but it's a good place to start in your journey to making money online. Some websites to get started are SwagBucks and Survey Junkie.
5: Offer Transcription Services
Earning Potential: $500+
Are you a fast typer who can listen to and transcribe audio pretty quickly? If the answer is yes, then you might just excel at being a transcriptionist.
Transcriptionists are tasked with listening to recorded audio and then tying it out into formal text for clients. As with most industries, the riches are in the niches and transcribing complex text such as for the legal and medical professions can pay more than usual.
For beginners, you can expect to earn anywhere from $15 to $30 dollars for every hour of audio transcribed, and these rates can go up as you become more experienced. The learning curve is not very steep, and you can get started within a week on the right platform. Most platforms require new transcribers to take a test before you can start, but this generally requires minimal preparation. Some good places to start looking for your first transcription jobs are Rev and TranscribeMe.
